How to Use the Image Compressor
Step 1: Upload Image
Upload the image you want to compress by one of the following methods:
- Click the upload area to select a file from your device

- Paste an image directly from clipboard
Step 2: Adjust Compression Settings
Customize compression settings based on your needs:
Quality (0-1)
Higher values mean better quality but larger files. 0.8 (80%) is recommended for most images.
Output Format
Select output format. Auto keeps the original format. WebP offers the best compression.
Dimension Resize
Set maximum dimensions to resize the image. Leave empty to keep original dimensions.
Step 3: Download Compressed Image
After compression is complete, click the download button to save the compressed image to your device. You can also compare the original and compressed images side by side to see the difference in quality and file size.
Pro Tips
- Use WebP format for best compression ratio while maintaining quality
- For photos, quality 0.7-0.8 provides excellent results
- For graphics containing text, use quality 0.9 or higher
- Enable retain Exif option if you need to preserve metadata
